Career/Job Fair Prep Party

At the Prep program, students will have the opportunity to:

· Ask 17 different employers for advice and tips on their resume (and get 17 employers to actually look at their resume – which is a BIG deal in this job market)

· Learn what employers expect them to know about their organizations (how and what to research)

· Practice “telling their story” to actual employers AND receive feedback and advice on how to improve

· Learn what “appropriate dress” means and receive professional dress and make-up advice from Macy’s consultants

As far as we know, no campus in the country is offering a program that not only teaches students how to prepare for a job fair/career search – but also lets them put their training into practice working with actual employers who will offer feedback and advice. (See list of participating employers below).

PLEASE encourage your students to take advantage of this new and unique program. Classes are welcome. Faculty and staff are encouraged to come and “check it out” as well. Questions – let me know.
